  • Keynote remarks by Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, who served as the 52nd Speaker of the House of Representatives and made history in 2007 when she was elected the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House. Speaker Emerita Pelosi made history again in January 2019 when she regained her position second-in-line to the presidency – the first person to do so in more than six decades.
  • Presentation of the 2023 Woman Lawyer of the Year Award to Jo-Ann Wallace, President, CEO & Board Chair, NLADA Mutual Insurance Co., RRG, introduced by 2022 Woman Lawyer of the Year: Chief Judge Anita Josey-Herring, Superior Court of the District of Columbia
