Each May, the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia (WBA) and WBA Foundation hold an event to celebrate the WBA’s anniversary. While we typically hold this celebration at the National Building Museum, with 600 of our closest friends, we will instead celebrate virtually this May (again).

Although the event will be held virtually, our WBA president and president-elect will be broadcasting live from the National Building Museum!

This event is a celebration of our work over the past year. We will highlight and hear from two committees whose successful efforts and engagement most aligned with the theme for this Bar year – The Importance of Allies and Friends – and the theme for the coming Bar year – to be announced at the event! Our Town Hall format also will provide attendees the opportunity to learn more about and provide feedback on WBA’s advocacy work and membership engagement and support efforts. We want to hear from you!

The event also will feature remarks from the WBA’s president and president-elect and the WBA Foundation president.

Cost: There is no charge to attend, but registration is required.

Please stay tuned: we are planning a limited-capacity, in-person Annual Dinner event for October.
