Building Connections Across Borders
Co-chaired by Winston & Strawn associate, Sophia Herbst, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP counsel Faith Laken, and Haystackreview attorney Lisa Lyhun Park, the International Law Forum provides WBA members with a place to connect, collaborate, and strengthen the international legal community in a world shaped by rapidly evolving geopolitical tensions.
“International law brings us together to establish standards amidst dynamic global geopolitical tensions. The more connected we remain, the stronger we become,” said Park.
The forum’s mission this bar year is simple but impactful: to unite women across every facet of international law—whether in transactional, regulatory, litigation, or arbitration practice.
Coming Up Next
The forum is already putting that mission into action. On August 19, it will host a program at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP on M&A trade diligence, exploring recent developments in global trade and transactional deal-making.
